Openings & Research Opportunities

Our list of interesting research ideas to explore (in the waiting list because of our limited time) is growing exponentially. For this reason, Master & Bachelor Projects in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science are always available. Feel free to make an appointment with any of the staff members to discuss the different possibilities, which span from more formal 'pen&paper' projects to programming and testing new ideas.

University Research Fellowship

Talented Bachelor and Master students can apply for the University Research Fellowship (URF) of the Vrije Universiteit which will carry the name of Prof. dr. Paola Gori-Giorgi. The URF is a token of appreciation and a public tribute to the university’s most excellent scientists for their extraordinary research performances. These scientists will be entitled to reward the best student of their choice (nationally or internationally) with a URF which will carry their own name. The Fellow will work together with the scientist for a maximum of 12 months on research or in their educational activities. The Fellowship starts in September 2018.  Deadline for applications is 19 June 2018.
